The purpose of the committee is to establish one event per year that the Department of Florida recognizes as a qualified National Sesquicentennial Event.

 

Determine where and what Civil War land and sea Battles, or Skirmishes, occured here in the State of Florida during the American Civil War 1861 through 1865.

 

To submit, or review, applications and process them to the National Sesquicentennial Committee.
